In skeletal vision, Nick is hit with the side of the truck and is launched into the wall, which shatters his skull. When his body falls to the floor, blood flows out his head and his teeth are knocked out and bounce everywhere, one of which hits the camera.

Signs/Clues

  • After Samantha dies, the driver of the lawnmower loses a tooth.
    Nick, Lori and Janet's Death
  • While car 6 was in pit stop, the number 666 is shown (a number 6 on the car and two number 6 flags which forms 666)
  • After Hunt's death, Nick spills a cup of coffee on a newspaper in his house. The newspaper had an article in it mentioning three teenagers who were killed in a store when an out of control car crashed through a storefront window where the three teenagers were at.
  • The cafe that Nick and his friends are in is called "Death By Caffeine".
  • A chalkboard on the wall of the cafe reveals the shop's beverages all have gimmicky names based on Death, such as "Iced Mocha Fatality" and "Knockin' on Death's Door Lattie"
  • Before sitting down, Nick bumps into a homeless man, who Janet had earlier given spare change. The vagrant owned a dog named Browning.
  • Nick sees a photo of the pool where Hunt died.

  • Before entering the shop, Nick warns a construction worker on the scaffolding one of the pipes needs to be tightened. This was probably
Original Ending of The Final Destination
the cause of it falling over in the first place.
  • Before meeting the aforementioned construction worker, a bus with the number "180" can be seen passing by.
  • Lori says that she and Nick will be traveling to Paris, which was where Alex and his friends were planning on going to until their Flight 180 plane exploded.
  • In the refrigerator on Death By Caffeine, there is a sticker of Hice Pale Ale, it is the brand of beer in Final Destination 2 & 3.
  • On Final Destination Alex and Clear is talking about Death while drinking coffee and Alex saw a bus reflection on the window of the coffee store while Clear asks if they will choke to death. While Nick, Lori and Janet is drinking coffee in a shop a truck crush on them and before Nick entering the coffee shop, a 180 bus cross the street.
  • It is quite possible like Nick himself said that they were always meant to die in Death by Caffeine and not the McKinley Speedway.

Trivia

  • Nick's name may have, been "Tom" originally. This can be inferred by the fact that, on several occasions in the official script, there are misspellings of words where "TOM" is replaced by "NICK" (e.g. "Automatically" is changed to "AuNickatically", "Bottom" is changed to "BotNick") implying that the writer, or the editor used a "Find and Replace" program, but ended up replacing everything rather than the names.
  • In the alternate ending, Nick finds Lori and Janet in the mall. He tells them it's not over, but he can fix it, and runs off with Lori and Janet chasing him, but they get caught in the crowd. He enters the theater construction site where the fire is, and grabs a propane tank. He decides to sacrifice himself and jump off the building from stories above, creating an explosion when he landed on top of a police officer's car that read "180" and sets off the mall alarm. Everyone in the mall has to evacuate and they are all saved from the disaster. Lori is then seen with Janet, crying and mourning, where Janet convinces her he's a hero for saving everyone. They think they have beaten death just like Clear Rivers and Alex Browning. However, just as Lori says "the chain is broken" a broken metal chain falls from the sky, where Lori picks it up out of curiosity. A moment later, they are crushed by a falling platform, leaving Lori's hand behind, holding the metal chain.
  • The ending scene where Nick, Lori, and Janet are in Death By Caffeine is very similar to the Train 081 scene of Final Destination 3. Death manages to group the remaining survivors, and Nick (Wendy) sees omens that Death is still after them, and is paranoid, while Lori (Kevin) and Janet (Julie) are not worried and believe that the have truly defeated Death. Immediately after, Death strikes, and kills Janet first (Julie), then Lori (Kevin), and finally Nick, (Wendy).

She was the school photographer for the yearbook. Wendy and her friends celebrated at the amusement park for their senior field trip. At the start of the film, Wendy admits that she doesn't care for Kevin. Though as the movie goes on she slowly forms a caring relationship between herself and Kevin.

Final Destination 3

Wendy attempting to get off the ride.

Before getting on a roller coaster ride known as Devil's Flight, Wendy began to have the feeling of "having no control". Shortly after being seated on the coaster, she suffered a premonition of the entire ride derailing and brutally killing her and all the other passengers. She panicked, and managed to get several of her fellow students off when a fight ensured between Kevin, Lewis, and Ian. She and the other survivors were taken outside, when she remembered that her boyfriend Jason was still on the coaster. She began to freak out and told the attendants to stop the ride, but failed to do so when security grabbed her and took her outside. and planned to not attend graduation. Before leaving, Kevin told to her about the Flight 180 legend (Final Destination). Wendy didn't believe him. and drove home in despair. When she returned, she looked at the photos she took with her camera during the night of the deaths. After Ashley and Ashlyn die in a tanning bed accident, she confessed to Kevin about the photos, and they drove off to a drive-through restaurant after the girl's funerals, trying to figure out how Frankie will die. , resulting Frankie's death. When she and Kevin checked the order of the survivors on the roller coaster, they realized that they looked at the wrong photo of Frankie for clues. Lewis was killed by a damaged weight-lifting machine when she and Kevin tried to save him. They then visited Ian and Erin at the hardware store they worked at to warn them, but he and Erin thought they were crazy and paranoid. However, Wendy managed to save Ian, but Erin was killed by a nail gun, causing Ian to form a grudge against Wendy. Wendy discovered that Julie was also on the roller coaster, along with another person sitting next to her. She contacted Kevin, who was working as security at the
Wendy and Julie, witnessing Perry's death.

Wendy and Julie                                                                                                                                                Tricentennial celebration, where Julie and her friends had gone. Kevin saved Julie from being impaled by a harrow that a panicking horse was going to drag her under. However, they saved her, so Death moved on. Perry revealed that she was sitting next to Julie, and was quickly impaled on a flagpole.

After saving Kevin from a grill spurting fire, they almost managed to escape, but Ian arrived at the Tricentennial and blamed Wendy for Erin's death. Wendy thought that Ian was the cause of her death, which he also realized. Just after, fireworks shot at her, Kevin, and Julie, but they ducked out of the way. They also missed Ian, and hit a structure behind him, which resulted in Ian being bisected by a cherry picker.

Death

Wendy right before she gets hit by the second train. At the end of the movie, Wendy was reunited with Julie and Kevin on a subway train. Suddenly, Wendy had another premonition, this being of the train's derailment, which would kill Julie, Kevin, herself, and everyone else on board. Wendy saw that after the crash, she would be the sole survivor. She would be in the middle of the tracks, and not able to move because her leg was badly hurt in some way. A moment later, another subway train sped towards her, and she screamed in terror as she was hit by the train.

Signs/Clues

  • Ian was never meant to kill Wendy. Wendy just mistook the clue in the photograph (her wearing a shirt with

    Wendy's Death
'McKinley' on it) as a sign that Ian would be the cause of her death. The 'McKinley' clue was actually referring to the Cherry picker that was supposed to kill Wendy, but killed Ian instead. Ian died because he was (unknowingly) intervening with Wendy's death just by standing in their way.
  • While Wendy was on Train 081, she had a brief vision of a photo of her and Jason, who was one of the dead of Devil's Flight, foreshadowing that she would soon be reunited with him in the afterlife.
  • In an alternate ending, Wendy observed the train schedule, and noticed the last stop said END in bold, red letters.
  • A black wolf crosses the street in front of her car, and stares at her.
  • She is haunted by the song "Turn Around, Look At Me"
  • The voice of the mortician from the first two movies played the conductor on the train.
  • A subway musician started singing "Turn Around, Look At Me," which was a recurring song in the movie.
  • In Wendy's photo, Jason's face was blurred. On the train, the people sped past Wendy, and
Wendy's Photo as to how she will die.all of their faces were blurry.
  • Some people in the train were cheering for Bruins, the rival team of The Sultans.
  • While looking in the mirror, Wendy noticed the train's number. Backwards, it read 180.
  • Wendy saw a sign advertising the drive-through restaurant where Frankie died.
  • Wendy saw a sign advertising the store where Erin died.
  • Wendy saw a sign advertising the tanning salon where Ashley and Ashlyn died.
  • Wendy saw a sign stating, There is no escaping DEATH and taxes.
  • The train conductor menacingly stated, "The next stop is the end of the line."
  • One of the men boarding the train was bald, and sported a white and red tattoo, with the tattoo on the left side of his head - which made him eerily look like Frankie Cheeks when he died.
  • Jason said "I'll meet you at the end." before boarding the coaster and dying, presumably forshadowing her death AT THE END of the movie, and her afterlife reunion with him.
  • When Wendy and Kevin went to the gym, and Wendy was looking around, Kevin and Lewis talked about the signs in the background. Kevin said something about two sisters who were killed when going to visit each other. Wendy and Julie talked about visiting each other, and they both died on the train.
  • When in the cemetery, an ominous wind blows through the pine trees.
  • When in her room, a wind blows over her things.
  • When in the drive-through, the word control disappears..she has no control.
  • On the train, there is a sign saying "Today might be your lucky day"
  • At the opening credits there was a board written "Do you believe in fortune?"
  • On the train, there is a sign advertising 'Slushie really cool' the drink Ashley and Ashlyn were drinking.
